| Wellcome on board lads. Allways rated brown supprised when he left Sheffield especially to go to York. Ben Johnstone sounds an exiting player if he is half as good as burrow he will be alright.

well said. Some people would complaine if we signed cooper cronk and bill slater. They would probably asked why we did not sign cameron smith

| I think Harrisons speech says it all really. Its basically saying there are no quality players available so he is just going to sign who he can to fill the empty places.
Looks like we may be aiming for mid table mediocrity if you ask me. But then again we shouldnt judge them until we have seen them play..........................that is unless we have seen them play before.
PS Will be interesting to see if Brown can up his try scoring rate to equal out losing Thackery`s trys.
Oh and just another piece in the jigsaw of Harrisons 5 drives and a kick game plan. Mennell will complete that. Going to be exciting times down at the Shay next seazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

| Also Harrison saying he wants 6 or 7 options for the key positions says that he does not have a big name player lined up otherwise you wouldnt need those options.

| I think Brown will bring a lot to our kicking game at stand off. Ben Johnston will have to see. Murrell can move to his favourite role of Loose Forward.
It might just work Captain.

| Brown will bring a good kicking game to the team, something not had for a while.
not seen johnston play but from what read he is a good player, with murrell at loose we hopefully have a good trio to get backs moving and a few that can kick for position.

| A Championship Grand Final winner, and an up and coming exciting young, hungry prospect.
And if Mennell and Kaye come. Both Championship Grand finalists!!!! Not bad if you ask me!
What do people want???

| Browny's kicking will be class behind a big pack, but don't expect him to
take the line on or actually get tackled with the ball, will stand out easily
due to a completely clean shirt after 80 minutes
Johno - small, but quick, you've got a really good lad there

| People have b!tched about how much we need a pacey half back... We go get one and people still complain...
Alongside that we sign the player with the best kicking game in the league and people still complain...

| Its all well and good having a Kicking Game, But Murrell does that fantastically already, We are short of someone who is willing to ask questions and take on the line and put people through gaps. I will reserve judgement on these signings. from the courier article it sounds as though we are in for another season of chopping and changing in key positions again rather than getting a team well gelled and with backup in vital positions in case of injuries.
Still its early days in the silly season, I await the BIG signing we all crave with baited breathe.
