No interest, No Line speed in defence, No go forward and power in attack, No Leadership or spark from 6, 7, 9 or 13, Handling skills very poor. The only good thing was the kicking game. Fax looked like they didnt really want to play. No Excuses Leigh was up for it and embarrassed us. The difference in attitude was massive. Well done well deserved

Bad coaching.

Antony 'one pass' Thackery is not good enough.

If Penky plays 7 next week, you will beat us. Leigh were awesome tonight.

Harrison is a great forwards coach but has no idea on how to play open RL. Drop offs? must have been over 100 tonight. St Dunstans could have defended against the Fax tonight.

we looked far too predictable and that sweeping move where the full back comes in is now the most telegraphed move in RL.

poor.

Beaten comfortably by an extremely good team. Bob Beswick showed again what a top quality player he is at this level.

Rowley summed it up precisely in his post match interview when he said that what won it for them was honesty and determination, two things you can't coach. To me, that was the difference. Whilst passes will go to ground and balls will be dropped in those conditions, tackles should not be missed. To a man Leigh were determined not to let us score. On the other hand, as soon as Leigh had an attack, Tyrer's lack of commitment in defence for their first try was extremely disappointing. In the second half, Rettie's refusal to dive on the ball in the build up to their fourth try was the polar opposite of the commitment all the Leigh players had shown throughout. Those two incidents were the difference between the teams up to that stage, in what was otherwise a very close game.

It will be interesting to see how Rhino responds. When you have quality players on the sidelines, I think it sends completely the wrong message if these examples of lack of commitment to the cause (which both cost tries) are overlooked. Tyrer and Rettie should be dropped and made to fight for their places, with Patterson and Worrincy brought back in. It is then clear that only 100% commitment throughout is acceptable.

Love people who come on here with the all powerful insight. Just one question - has the season's just started for you? Where were you on here for our previous 10 victories this year which put us into the QF of the NRC and to the top of the table?

Suppose you would know considering you've been at all our games this season...

Anyway moving on, that was always going to happen at one point or another, as we've all established this is one hell of a topsy turvy league. However we need to move on from it now and realise that we're not just going to walk it this year, hopefully this will be the kick up the back-side we need. Aim for a bit of revenge next weekend.

We have done the most telegraphed move in RL for 5 seasons on the bounce now and we get worse at excecuting it each year. Fair play to Leigh they were very good defensively and sniffed out our key players, i havnt seen penky as quiet as that in a game for a long time. It was a bit concerning how quickly our heads dropped once we went behind. Oh well its a early doors im sure we will bounce back. Lastly i feel i need to apoligise to Mr Rowley i never rated him as a coach but he looks like he has got them in good shape this season.

I think mentally we were done in after piling on 20 minutes of pressure and coming away with precisely cack all. Not often that happens and it socked a Pacquiao punch to the lads from which they couldn't recover. The exact opposite effect was felt by the Leigh team. After absorbing so much pressure they go up the field and score a try. The rest is history.

Everyone's lost a game now. No biggie. Park it and move on.

I much preferred the Calland style of open Rugby with backs running onto the ball from deep and keeping the ball alive even in wet conditions. Just my opinion - you have yours - and I think you described it as awful ..............which it was.

Awful.....
But....
The league is marathon and i'd say tonight we hit the wall, and it was a bad mile.

p.s what price tonight a Worrincy break from nothing or a Sam Barlow offload, i'd say tonight will do us good in respect of certain players, and maybe KH will have seen something valuable about the group.
