Personally my heart says Widnes win but my head says this might be our first defeat.
Our defence will have to be good and I have my concerns in this area.

I think all Fax fans are still confident about this season - We are just a little under cooked at the moment with the pre season being disrupted. But there are signs that we are starting to click - Black and Brannigan get better every game, Shadrack is on fire at the moment at full back, The Beast will be fitter on Thursday along with Dom. Franks also seems to be stepping up his game.

Should be an interesting night Thursday.

I don't think we'll even get a bonus point. Once Widnes get on a roll at home they are VERY hard to stop. I'm never really confident going to Widnes and I think this has come too early for us to challenge.

That was a sweet victory because for the first twenty minutes we had gobby Widnes fans giving it the "big we are" after romping ahead. Then after our epic comeback they were rabid with hatred for all things refereey and Halifaxy.

Think that can be said for both sides! Usually when get ahead it's hard to claw them back, but we have shown a lot more character this season so am betting on us to grap a win by 8!
