| As much as Monday night still stings we have to move on to Sundays game against York. They seem like a lot of clubs including us to be up and down this year. We will have a short turn around to this game so we can not afford to feel sorry for ourselves and need a improvement in our ability to read and play the game accordingly to the conditions and what the opposition are throwing at us because i see our biggest problem is between the ears of some players. As for the result i will go for 26-14 to fax.

| Looks as though it should be drier, not the answer to all our problems but will help. Don't know if he was playing to instructions on Monday but JWH didn't get involved in our attack at all - I know that all comes off having some decent ball, but when he joins line, especially outside Jouffret our attack looks a lot more potent. Thought Lannon looked decent on Monday, especially considering his lack of recent match practice and should only get better. Assume Fairbank will come straight back in - you would hope instead of Maher - but disappointingly wouldn't be surprised to see Doro make way instead.

I was actually quite calm about the loss but my mrs unleashed a lot of expletives and I’m not sure I can convince her to go again

York showed the league how to combat JWH running outside Joufret in the play-offs, ever since then we haven't had a plan B.

Those two have created tries all season by mixing it up, we could call that a plan B if you like. Nobody has really been able to bottle them up and I am sure we will see a lot more of them once we get some better weather. I wouldn't read too much in to Bradford mainly stopping them in those conditions, on a dry track Bradford would struggle badly against them.

| God i'm bored of...wait till we get better weather,It's only early season, stop giving needless penalties, the halves will click again, repeat to fade endlessly.Nothing will improve while the pack is getting dominated on a weekly basis.Lannon a step in right direction if Grix realises that losing or falling out with your best forwards isn't the way forward.Get Finny back.....

| York apparently have 10 out injured including Liam Harris- and a coach who doesn't want to use DR, but may presumably looking for some loans.

Nail, head, you've hit it. And has also been said, we need a Muzza character on the field as well.

As much as you may be right, the fact is our pack is built to play in decent weather and has been for a number of seasons. It's not just a coincidence that we are slow starters pretty much every season but always seem to gather up enough momentum through the summer to get a decent league placing. I expect the same to happen again this season as it seems to be rinse and repeat of the last few seasons but in my opinion with nearly half of the season been played in poor conditions, especially good chance the main part is, then we need to have a balance for that as well and we simply do not have that and the style of rugby we play is horrible in those conditions as we have seen this season. For me that is soley down to the coach, trying to play dry weather condition rugby on nights like last Monday is just down right stupid, even full time players would struggle never mind part time ones and to me that is just down to a coach who is too stubborn to change.
Grix stubborness can be seen in how he continues to use Will Maher, can you imagine if Eribe Dorro or previously Ryan King or Springer were putting in performances like that? They were dropped straight away with excuses given about poor attitude or whatever yet we continuously watch someone play 20 minutes each game, do absolutley nothing, and get picked the following week. I can't believe what I am going to say is possible but there is no way he has it written in his contract that he must play every week he is fit can he? I mean thats such a stupid idea I don't think for one second it could be true but I just can't see how he justifies his place and can't understand Grix usage of him.

How do you see this unfolding in the future. Because if he doesn't change we will not progress as a team we will more than likely go backwards. Will he get frustrated and think he can not take the team any further forward and leave or will the board say this is not good enough and give him the boot. Just a point on the board from what they said at the fans forums they think Simon is one of the best coaches in the league so you would think he would have there backing. But for me this ongoing problem in the pack needs sorting one way or another.
