| Sorry to disagree but I trust RM, and from what I see, we have several players either stagnating or going backwards, Connor like Luke is no longer the player we got from SL, and if they cant make Semi professional commitments then move em on.
There's a good number of people manage to have families, do a day job, watch Fax and play sport themselves, turning up to training inclusive.
We need people on the up, not on the slide.
Richard Marshall has a side competing on less money I would dare say than Rhino or Calland had, so we need to support this guy.
And what a poor record Tony Smith has at The Wire, been challenging and competitive for a decade now, with a good brand of Rugby, some great teams and 10X our crowds, yes we don't need any of that nonsense do we.
Keep going Richard, weed em out, more Grady's and Tangata's, and keep hungry younger players coming through. It'll just take time cos we don't have Wires brass.
It's not going to change overnight, some people need to accept the process were in.

| A decent squad man but was never gonna hold a regular 1st team squad down. Was never a full back, an average scrum half and we've got better starting hookers

This. I dont expect him to stand out at York to be honest. Work commitments the reason I am lead to believe.
Neither Ambler or Moore could make the commitment the club required by the sounds of it. You would assume both were on decent money so it made sense to cut ties. neither of those will end up at better clubs either.

| Agree on post above from justthebasicfax.
Not d about Moore or Ambler, but do think Robinson is a shame. Had some superb performances in those super 8s games, but never really kicked on or established himself in the team. Like Johnston, both never reached their potential.

Did he? I never saw him as anything more than average. No great loss there and we have better lads in the reserves.

| Problem with Connor is knowing what his best position is and sticking to it. No point moving around as he will never develop and get to know a position. Looking at him I think he is best at hooker but with us having two on the books see no point in Connor staying.
Cant really understand why players are moving on at this stage. We have a small squad to begin with and have only brought in Douglas. Looks to me like we are short of money and are planning for next season. We are clearly short of pivots and looks like we are sticking with what we have.
RM is doing the best with what he has at his disposal. He is doing a good job when you look at our small squad.

| After having a good clear out of the old school who were inherited.
What concerns me about players is the number that have come and gone after just one season or thereabouts.
Quickly of the top of my head these include.
Connor.
Smeaton.
Moore.
Maneely.
Bennion.
Ecclestone.
These include players where RM has been involved in the recruitment and cover a wide range of ages and experience and either they weren't good enough in the first place (so why were they signed) or we could not get the best out of them.
Is it all down to the players?
This and the fact we just keep doing the same things wrong each week has me starting to worry about RM.
I stand to be corrected so someone feel free to alleviate my concerns.
