It's good for us to progress through the comp. however on radio Leeds the lock lane coach was interviewed and said he was disappointed with drawing Halifax. He wanted a bigger club so they could have a decent pay day. He then went on to say he would have preferred Fev or Cas. The interviewer then said wont it be good Playing at big ground like the shay. The coach said again how dissapointed it was getting fax and Not getting a good payday. What a knob

They'd make a bit more ££ at Cas, but Fev?? It'll give RM something to stoke up the boys on the day

They have to beat us to get cas they dont come in till next round . Anyway great draw for us hope jonno is fit and gets picked its his amateur club he would be playing against some of his old team mates.Lets have a good easter and hopefully get some points before we fall 2 far behind. UTFAX

In their last game in the cup v Fev Lions they had an attendance of over 1700, incredible for an amateur tie.

Happy with that it gives us a great chance to get one of the big boys in the next round and a decent pay day.
I feel a bit miffed after their coaches comments as yer we were not the biggest club left in this round but we certainly aint one of the tiddlers, we always treat amateur clubs with respect and our crowd will be bigger than most would be if they got Lock Lane.

Excellent draw, another game we should win without having to expend too much and another opportunity to give some of the youngsters a run out.

This may be a controversial comment and I'm prepared to take some flack for it but here goes.
For the CC game against Lock Lane I would strongly suggest putting the away fans in the North Stand. There is potential for problems.
There "fans" will be having their big day out and hitting the ale early doors, couple this with the fact they wanted "a big team" in this round, then when we put the game out of sight after 30 minutes we may see a few problems. If there fans are in with our fans it could be a problem. I remember a good few idiots at the shay when we stuffed Myton a few years back.

I now fully expect replied saying I'm being dramatic.
