This has been flogged to death and it still all revolves round the amount being charged by the council to both clubs who use it which is still unresolved at root cause level for one of them.
Fax are not happy that their rent is £11.880 more than the football club.
Whether CMBC will budge on it remains to be seen but as before they have the final say and can force the issue by just saying to Fax "If you don't pay, you won't play."

"A HRLFC spokesperson insisted the FOI information was not accurate and saidThe Club’s issues with Calderdale Council remain outstanding, but it is inappropriate to discuss them in the public domain at this time.
“The FOI response which is currently in circulation is out of date and substantially understates the club’s payments."
The above is from the courier article and looks like it's all they are saying at the moment.
I'm sure there will be more developments as it's not going to go away without some sort of resolution and it would be good to know what is going on. |

It seems that the issue at the rugby club is the dIfferance in the two rents the football clubs is a lot less. Does anyone know why this is. if there is an agreement between the rugby club and the council and the council seem to be sticking to this agreement I can't see how the rugby club can avoid paying the agreed amount until the current agreement is up for review.

Fair enough we have a valid complaint about the rate vs FC Halifax Town, but the simple fact is you cant just stop paying for christ sake. It's embarrassing.
At the end of the day if we win then they will just put FC Haifax's rent up, not ours down, and everyone looses except the council.

If the club has a dispute about certain aspects of he rent then it's fair enough that they bring them up with the council, but that not an excuse just to stop paying rent. Over the last 12 month the club has moved so far forward on and off the field and looks like it's been run I a professional way, but this makes it look the complete opposite, it's unprofessional and embarrassing. It needs sorting out
