Thank you shaymen another great job done. you cant see past the 'its our home' as apposed to a better future for both clubs....Oh well bring on Sunday !!

A great shame for both sporting clubs and fans, a missed opportunity.

Bubba and his fellow Luddites will each be sat on their own in their little rooms reading this article and, well be know what they will be doing don't we.

Couple of things for mine:

1) Who will the council sell it to now, if they can? How will they fund the running costs if they don't sell? (Obviously us paying our rent will help!)

2) Will it end Reactiv's intetest in Fax?

Well if his Postcode Lottery numbers do come in I'm sure his offer will receive the same response from Fax fans as Reactiv's.

Personally I wasn't sure of how it would gave panned out, being a Fax fan one is always a pessimist, but I was prepared to give it a go, a big shame as I can't see anybody wanting to take it on at over 2 million quid.

Very likely it will rot and when it does the value will go down but maintenance cost will go up as will the pressure on CMBC to find a solution.

Cue the town fans coming on saying we told you so

I think taxpayers would rather the Council got value for money and in the meantime, both clubs paying their rent in full.

Did Reactiv have the funds? No.

Of course. We have long maintained that we dont want private ownership, regardless of who it is. This used to be Fax supporters' opinion too.
