I have decided to start a new thread as Sam seems to be mentioned on at least 3 other threads.
To me Sam was superb in the first half, at least three or four important offloades two of which resulted in trys.
Threw a silly punch in the tackle early on and was quite rightly penalised.
Booed in the first half when substituted, and more importantly in my opinion, disgracefully, as he was helped off the pitch.
Why do Fax fans dislike him, he opted to play for us instead of that useless waste of space club in South Yorkshire and accepted all the vitriol from them, did't we christen him Slamin Sam.
Sincerly hope he is well tonight,
O'h if you look at the other threads about tonight, leyther94 and hindsfordleyther79 won't be able to reply, they have been sent to bed without any supper.

Good post (for once ) hahaa. Banter and jokes aside im sure all Fax fans wish Barlow a speedy recovery, its never nice to see a player injured no matter what team they play for. Im now off to bed hungry but good luck for the rest of the season.

Barlow is somebody you either love or hate. Have no time for Barlow personally. An arrogant egomaniac who thinks its funny to wind people up on social media etc as well as on the park. No need for it and needs to grow up. Banter is OK but he goes beyond that and why he is somebody many people simply dont like. He is happy to put in sly shots and digs. However wish him well in his recovery and dont want anybody to end up in Hospital

Good news, it seems sam's injuries are not as bad as originally feared. Still in hospital under observation though.

In my eyes a lot of Leigh fans are letting themselves down with the comments I have read on here. Oh and before anyone starts spouting I also think Dane Manning and a couple of others let themselves down for us tonight with their antics.

That was simply not right Greg, and I am now calming down. I have loads of respect for your club and in any niggle over the years it has not been done like tonight.

Wasn't Sam involved in a cheap shot of his own during the reverse fixture earlier in the season?
