How and why is it season defining?

A win would instill confidence and give us the momentum to really scrap for second place.
Losing would see us fall off the pace and put real pressure on us to have to beat fev/sheff etc
to maybe only achieve 3/4th place.As the Sheffield reporter said a night to show intent.

Doesnt as much define this season but the many to come. Lose tonight and we cant finish in the toop two which means next season we will have lower salary cap and less RFL pay outs meaning we will have a very slim chance of making it the "middle 8" and therefore Super Dooper League! We will become one of the best also rans maing up the numbers!

I think Leigh will win tonight and also beat Fev in August.

Should Fax get a bonus point tonight and beat Fev at the Shay you would still be in with a chance of second place.

You must know I am a biased Leyther.

Gents and Ladies, you will never have a better chance than tonight. Scratch centres and too many injuries being carried in the 17 to beat a team who had the weekend off and have had a week and half to prepare for the game.

I agree although I honestly haven't a clue how tonight will go. The players are fragile at the minute I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of those games when the wheels finally come off.

Feel sorry for you fax fans because I quite like your lot but your fast exciting rugby has been replaced with headhunting and cheap shots. We have our fair share of thugs at leigh at times but your team were a disgrace in that 2nd half, that hit on Barlow was disgusting then a sucker punch on a leigh player who wasnt even looking.
