Looked good against us, to be fair we are not going to replace Penky like for like, we have to get somebody in who'll do a good job and maybe build into the role over a couple of years.

Well interesting signing. Could be a very good signing or simply another not good enough. Young lad plenty to prove. I hope he ( and others) doesnt feel he needs to fill Penkys boots as nobody can. I hope Karl does better than his brother who started for me started strongly and then went downhill. The good thing is that Karl is fast and has good hands.

Fully agree.Thacks got the tag'one trick pony' but in my opinion Ashall's drives in to line and cutting left worked well for first few games but once everyone knew what he was doing he didnt have anything else inhis locker.With the signing of Murrell cant see Craig getting much game time next year unless he improves dramatically.Hope Karl has the same impact as Rowley did when he first signed.He was awesome. |

He'll probably rotate Murrell and Karl because you've got one player who can control and lead a game (Murrell) and then the impact player (Ashall). I hope that's what we do anyway! |
