To all you Leigh fans who from the final whistle to us getting in our car told us.
1. Leigh are still top of the league.
2. We are still near the bottom.
3. The ref was useless.
4. Leigh will beat us at Blackpool.
5. Leigh beat us at the Shay.
Can I just say,
1. Yes you are.
2. Yes we are.
3. Yes he was, did you see how many times he dropped the ball? Nearly gave away three interception try's didn't tackle and when he played the ball to no one on Halifax's try line, well?
4. Yes you "might" if we get there.
5. Yes you did.
There are you happy now?
Apart from those many "fans" we had the pleasure of sitting behind father and son "real supporters" who as we sat down said that we would win. Throughout the game they acknowledged a fine performance from us and quite rightly pointed out that you can't win forever.
Agreed Leigh will probably win the league, but going back to.
No 1. Didn't Featherstone win the league last year?
