Drab day here at The Shay. Wet conditions not condusive to open play football. That said, the mighty Fax are dominating the gallant Roughyeds. If we carry on in the second half I reckon we can beat them by 20. No sweat.

Just the faxettes to go and then it's back to watching the champions in the second half.

Not a bad performance today from us, to say the conditions were terrible. Credit to Oldham their defence in the first half was brilliant, stopped a lot of certain trys. Only thing I wasn't impressed with though was Barlows hit on Bentley, lucky not to have been sent off, then again so were a few of Oldhams players. However its looking positive.

Any news on Ratu and Paterson?

Thanks to Mr TS for the updates via Facebook. Radio Leeds could not be assed to have a reporter or even any updates at any NR Cup games instead just SL and Kick n Clap. Useless

Good performance given the ref thought it was all about him.
Can't believe that we put that many points up them as I thought it would be a close game given last weeks results, weplayed well in poor conditions but pitch looked well.
Bigger forwards gave us a platform to launch from so backs were able to come more into the game.

Hopefully Pato has just incurred a minor ankle injury, Ratu's injury looked worse hope it's not serious.

Ratu looked a real handful whilst on bet he's very frustrated.

Aye it would have been great to have had White, Ratu and Nash down one side, they would destroy defences. Hopefully Ratu isn't out for too long...

As I understand it Pato has a turned ankle and Ratu went to hospital with suspected broken arm.

And with Sam on report it could be an expensive afternoon

Barlow will get banned, I would say one maybe 2 games. Only problem I have is that the touch judge didn't even flag for a late tackle or foul play...it was only when the whistle happy ref spoke to him he he said something about the "late" but committed challenge from sam...

All Sam did was block a dummy runner. The guy rolled on the floor for a while had "treatment" then got up & carried on. No worse than any other "challenge" that goes on in any game.

Did Ryan Fieldhouse get on.? How did he do and what was the attendance?
