Hopefully the under 23s will benefit him this season and will enable him to make the step up into first team regular in the near future. He needs more game time for his development than he has been allowed in the past couple of years due to the scrapping of the second team.

I still don't know why we didn't do what we did with Cherryholme and sent him out on loan for a period early in the season to get some game time and build him up for the first team

for me this is the best re-signing so far, this lad has bags of potential, he will only get better and better,

No need it would just be wasted money, we have Penky, Beswick, Bowman and even Smith who can cover at half back. People need to start putting faith in Bowman he has shown what he can do I just hope he gets more chances to show us next year.

Tbf Bowman came to us as a stand off, it's just Calland used him at Loose quite a lot last season. I can't see many players who would be available to us who would be able to compete with Black and Jones.
