I am increasingly worried we wont be able to hold on to Sam. I know he has only played few games for us but he has been excellent.
Does anyone know anything?

I am sure that somebody knows something. However until its appropriate for the something that somebody knows to be public knowledge it will all be a matter of speculation. As it is with Patterson, Brannighan etc.

All we can do is wait and see what Hall and Calland can come up with.

Just like Shad and possibly others, if SL comes calling then I have no qualms about them going, everyone deserves their shot. If not, then we should look to build the team around young British and even better Halifax born players. Sam plays with a passion I've rarely seen in a blue and white shirt, most likely because it is his home town team. I really hope he stays.

Sam will be at 'Fax next season.

Spoke to Sam last night at the past players do and he definately wants to stay with Fax. Obviously he has had better offers but he loves playing for his home town.

Obviously? Yes because he's such a cracking player and one you'd love at your club to help team morale too lol.

I'm not a Fax fan, but I think his enthusiasm and attitude when on the pitch is fantastic, and something a lot of players could learn from. Having spoken him on many occasions, what always comes over is how passionate he is about the game. I have a feeling he might get picked up by a Super League club for 2012 is he maintains his form into next season, and maybe cuts out a few of the silly penalties he tends to give away from time to time.

Average player at the very best. Your right he does give 110% and puts his body on the line which is fine for the championship but he's also left all his previous clubs under a cloud should we say! Signed for us billed as a future international but tbh you wouldn't remember him being here... Still got time though I guess!
