Our good friend and lifelong Halifax RLFC supporter Caliban has sadly passed away yesterday, my thoughts are with his family & friends at this terrible time.
R.I.P. mate, I'm glad you left this world as a champion, 'cos you were a champion bloke.

I never knew he posted on here, a few members of our party Sunday knew him and made a banner for him which they know he did get to see on Sky and loved and they made sure he was a big part of the day which was very touching, a sad loss so young and my condolences to his family.

I saw the banner and didn't realise the significance. I was acquainted with him from his time on the committee of the West Riding Youth ARL when he took on the role as chairman when no-one else would.
He will be missed.

I only knew of him on this forum, and found him to be very knowledgeable about the game. He also contributed to the FaxFans sponsorship several times, and was always one of the first to chip in or make up the difference if we were short of the total. TBH, I'm shocked to hear of his passing. My sincerest condolences to his family.
