| Barrow look like imploding. I have heard quite a few times from different people that Des is no longer ploughing money in and is looking to get out. Rumours of Rooney not getting paid (ear infections etc when played Batley) are rife..
If you was a coach would you go there with the record Des has with his previous coaches??

| When we went up for our recent game their fans were telling us that he is not really interested in the Rugby and has a box at Old Trafford for the girly ball...obviously i dont know if this is true....just repeating what a handful of the fans said!
Maybe he could buy into Utd and sack Ferguson and be manager himself

| He has enough money to own a rugby club but not enough to own Man U's boot room.
A big fish in a small pond one might say. Will get tired of propping up what is actually a poor club, if we are honest.

| As a side note on all this attendance rubbish being spouted...
A massive 1328 there tonight for the reigning champions V the best supported club in the championship... Inspiring.
Granted I know it is a week night but that is pretty poor for two wanabee super league clubs?

| Almost correct but you named one team too many.
My dark horses for the Grand Final are not a candidate for the top four and I still think it will be Fev to win that particular game.
Whatever does it really matter ? When and until franchising is scrapped folk must realise where our game is heading sooner rather than later.
In March next season may as well not be bothered about.
I will still follow my team but I think attendances will drastically decline.

You can't blame us for the attendance of Barrow on a Wednesday night. That's absurd. Our attendances are the best in the league and speak for themselves.

Your "honesty" is only outdone by your ignorance.
Hard to see how they can be poorer than Fax as they have never gone bust or gone begging to other clubs fans to keep the wolf from the door. They have never been homeless through the incompetence of their board, fickle support and general Yorkshire tightfistedness.
Go look at the accounts, not that I expect you to stump up for a copy, it will show you exactly what DJ's committments to the club are. From memory I believe his total input to the club is approx £130k, £30k of which is a loan. Not a great deal over the years he's been at the club. Care to comment on the investment of your board members, those that are left...
Then again the club has had a few decent revenue streams in the NR Cup and Challenge Cup over the past couple of seasons, along with the small matter of £100k for a Grand Final win over some chumps from Yorkshire.

| You were about to go bust three seasons ago and then Des came in. You are nothing but a manufactured team. Nobody cares about Des's contributions to the club that are recorded in the books. Its the alleged extra contributions that everyone knows about. Why did Henderson leave again?

True you can't blame yourselves but Widnes fans also claim they have one the best travelling supports in the league. Granted it is a Wednesday night but it is an hour or so up the M6 is it not?
What was the crowd when we played Barra' up there on TV this season?

Actually judging by reports and on the radio a few did make the trip, I could hear the chants myself.
Again, you can't blame us for the low crowds. I think most honestly will testify that our travelling support is rather good. We just can't be expected to bolster a Barrow attendance on a Wednesday night at 7.30. 1300 is a low crowd no matter how you look at it. Even with no away supporters at all that is basement level for any of the larger Championship clubs especially for a game against credible rivals. The fact that we brought enough to get a chant going audible for the radio suggests there are less die hard fans at Barrow than most of the clubs in this division.

Wrong again Nat. Are you ever right?
You obviously have no evidence of any irregularities with Barrows finances and clearly don't have the balls to come out with an actual accusation. Hiding behind your pathetic "alleged". And it would appear that not only do the RFL not know about Barrows "alleged" extra payments but their regular checks of all clubs accounts have failed to find any.
I know why Hendo got into dispute with the club, but won't stoop to gossiping about it on here. However he is not renown for being as easy going as say Stanley Gene, now remind me what happened to one of the games most respected individuals at your club?
