I was at the game today against Batley, I go to every home and away game, also went to the blackpool 9's comp, some of the rumours of player departures at the end of the season really concerns me, if the rumours are true then we will have start next season will 3 or 4 players !!

As a loyal fan who watches the guys home and away i think I am entitled to comment on the rumours, I have not stated what the rumours are about !

We all know players will be leaving , at the same time new players will be joining. as long as there is a Halifax Rlfc playing decent rugby that will do for me

Wait until the news is announced before saying who is staying and leaving. Some players will be moving on. Some will be joining. But least get this season out the way first before speculating. I expect us to lose the odd higher paid player due to the farce of the Challenge Cup and the early exit of the Rail Cup. Fax problem I bet is that many Players/Agents will think we have more money to spend and will want more money to play for us than say Sheffield, Batley, Dewsbury etc

I think one of the deciding factors could be the attraction of a big main sponsor to replace the departing Halifax Insurance especially in these times of cut backs
