Ok here goes......................

Seeing as it was me that started the Calland Out post last week and created WW3 in the process I'll take responsibility for shoving the genie back in the bottle so we can all get on with the important business of stuffing Fev and then getting our s over to Warrington and putting Barrow back in their place.

I'm not going to apologise as such for what I said because I still believe that the points were valid. I do accept though that perhaps they weren't entirely helpful or well timed. As Littlerich pointed out, the time for the season PM is when the season is over. In my defence it was the way we lost rather than the fact that we lost that made me so angry.

In a bizarre way I hope it actually does some good. I hope Matt and the players did read the thread and that they felt as emotive as both camps on here did. I hope they take the field as pished off and angry with me, and others, as many of us were with them after thursday. I hope they take their anger out on Fev and make them pay. I hope lack of confidence gives way to pure bloody rage that their own fans turned on them.

I hope Tonyfax does comes on here and rubs our noses in it because that will mean we are in the Grand final and as a lifelong Fax fan that will do me fine. If Tony and Marillion want to give it to me then I'll be only too happy to bend over and take it like a choirboy (metaphorically speaking of course!)

So the time has arrived. Our season either ends on thursday or it doesn't.
My post last week was driven by passion and love of a club that I believe is second to none in this land and seeing it roll over and die isn't / wasn't acceptable.

Whatever our opinions we are THE FAX. Players, Directors, staff, fans.....even the giant bouncing cat and we all want the same thing - to win on thursday and reach the GF

I'll be doing my bit and shouting and singing myself horse (sorry ho!) As ever I will be living and breathing every tackle, every pass, every knock on (sorry!) and I know all you will as well because no matter what else we disagree on we all agree on one thing. "OH HALIFAX WE LOVE YOU"

So to the playersTHEY REMEMBER YOU!

No more negativity and no more fighting. TOGETHER we are going to the GF and when we get there Barrow are going to pay.

Well posted. The most important thing is that we all want the same thing and that we are all backing the club and the player. Halifax can definately win this competition and maybe even easily if we can re capture the early season form. Thats not a slant on Fev or Barrow, its just that we were on fire 4 months ago. Whatever needs to be said and done, i hope its dealt with in the dressing room and the boys come out and do themselves, the great name of Halifax and the fans proud. Come on Fax lads....run your blood to water in the name of HALIFAX RLFC.

For me the key is to go along (and play) almost as if it was the first game of the season. read nothing into anything that has gone before, simply believe in your ability, and give everything you have, and we the supporters will give you all of our support in return

Great post scratching shed ghost. Even after going to barrow last week i cant wait for this match and i have total faith in matt and the boys to produce the goods. If we play to our full potential we will blow fev away and then we can go to warrington and knock barrow back down to earth. Good luck boys we're all behind you.
