No team in this league can beat fax at home but Ronnie can.

It was I'm afraid. Ronnie "The Biggs" Laughton is obviously on a hiding to nowt at the Shay nowadays. But it was a different story early doors, the reason why we were in control was because we didn't give any penalties away, the disipline was excellent and we all got back the ten. But then we visibilly got frustrated and niggly in the 2nd. Lost the plot.

Spot on. Can't we just show the ref and the opposition some respect for once and say we lost because they were the better team?

Are we a 40 minute or 80 minute team? I'll come and watch a team that plays the full term, but if you're not going to put the effort in, lads, then I won't bother coming again; I'm that disappointed by the 2nd half showing. Bloody furious, more like. I was asked if I was going to Widnes next week, and iwas actually considering making the trip until that lack of effort in the 2nd half. Not a bleeding chance now.

Have to say i agree with you. I was furious at the final whistle. So disappointing. We are so much better than that. Not seen a showing like that from us in the second half for a while now. Had enough of them in my time as a fax fan let's not slip back into that please boys!!

Be reasonable TS. The players get back from France at 1am Monday morning, work 5 days the are asked to play a late game. It wasn't a lack of effort it was a lack of energy.

May-be we should'nt have put SO much effort into the first half then. Playing less than 3 hours in 6 days wo'nt wash with me. When we go to Too Loose again send them on the train, so no "JET LAG" can be blaimed.

Think that is just an excuse. We played well for 25-30 minutes. But our arrogance thought we had the game won. 18-0 up after 20 odd minutes should have seen us win. But no Fax being Fax showed no charactor AGAIN. If Fax want to win anything they must show they want it not just expect to get it.

That Fev player blatantly lost control of the ball before their third try I think it was but as it was backwards??? the Ref allowed play on.
Yet other times a player loses the ball and the Ref says knock on, even though it did go backwards.

Stop blaming the Ref. Penky tried to get the ball one on one on the 4th tackle and unfortunately for him it popped out or the Fev lad let it go...any of our players would have done the same. The Ref made the right call and we lost cos we were not good enough on the day.


I hate saying it but he had a pretty decent game so why do we always look to blame someone else.
