He looked the only Halifax player to beat a good Widnes defence. Shame about the howler of the season.

i couldnt beleive my eyes when he dropped it, the chasers had given up and he was in on the line. i was looking at the chasers turned my attention to black again when i saw them give up the chase and he just dropped it.

despite this though he is a cracking little player and it was just a shame it was him that happended to, that can happen to even the best players it was just unfortunate.

although Matt Calland i going to have a job on his hands now to pick him up for the Gateshead match, he must be distraught if he had scored then it was game over.

Still better then any player on the Widnes team.

What about they way we cut you up in the first half and dropped the ball on three occasions. So i wouldn't say he was the only one who cut you up.

Goddard tore you up down the left twice in the first half.

At the end of the day we didn't take our chances, so cost ourselves a vistory. Widnes can't look at any of that game and say we could have scored here or there as you took all your chances. Fair play to you, you won but that's about it. Nothing for fax to fear at your place or in the playoffs.

James Webster > Ben Black

i don't fear any other teams. But i do fear our inability to win big games and i do question the constitution of our bumholes

There is nobody beating Ben Black up more than Ben Black. He needs to put a line under it, it happened and he cant do anything about that. All he can do is have the best game of his life next week.

ben is quicker than webster, scores more tries than webster,

He's not in the same league or even on the same planet.

Correct, Webster is, was and always will be the more talented and better of the two which is why he has played in the NRL and in the Super League

i go back to my previous point.

ben is younger than webster, scores more tries than webster, is quicker than webster, and ben will play in super league eventually, when he is on form he is electric.

It looked like he was trying to celebrate too early, sorting his hands out ready to run over the try line with his hand in the air. Stupid mistake, lost us the match but we really don't need him to dwell on it.
