GFB - You seem to have your ear close to the ground. Do you have an idea where Matt Place fits into RM's plans and is Tangata being slowly eased into things?
Good work in compiling your Dossier on Leigh  I think the penny's started to drop now in terms of their little ruse to disrupt the flow of the game if things aren't going to plan. Hopefully Sunday's ref is wise to it. |

Im sure RM will be going through the video in fine detail trying to pick them apart. On form they are a very good team and we will do well to stick with them, if we can disrupt them then we could give them a shock.
Not sure on either Place or Tangata, I believe RM prefers a 2nd rower at the back of the scrum which leaves Murrell and Place fighting for the stand off spot although against smaller teams he may see a spot for both of them. We saw yesterday that with the right style of play Murrell can certainly play 6 with ease and by the sounds of it thats where he wants to play, he created a lot for us against Haven.
Hard to say with Tangata as you would have thought yesterday was a good chance to give him a run as no disrespect to Haven its probably going to be the easiest game of the season. I can only see Spencer dropping out to make way and Im not sure he deserves that given what we have seen of him so far this season and add in to that we now have Fairbank as well its plausable that both Spencer and Bracek could miss out next week. A few players are giving Rm selection headaches which is what he probably wants.

Regarding Matty Place my main concern was if he wasn't cutting the mustard. I hope that's not the case and that someone tells him that it does get warmer and lighter!
IF he is having doubts hope the kid toughs it out, we want all our players to succeed and get the best out of the game and themselves.
