Dylan Nash has aparently just about signed, anyone else we need?

Well we only have 19 players signed up so would expect at least 5 more signings whether they are re-signings or new players.

I think the squad will be 23/24 players.

If Nash comes in and/or Penky goes it should give MH/MC room to bring in some more fresh blood should they want to.

think we need another Second Rower but apart from that i cant see much else.

I think we need more outside backs. That was the area we struggled for depth last year. We need at least three good centres and three good wingers in the squad. If you count Haley as a centre, that leaves us one short of each. And no, Shad is not a centre IMO.

If Shad doesn't play full back I would expect him to be at least in the centres with all the back rowers we have.

Miles is the starting Full Back by a long way. You could tell we missed his organisation, support play and scoots when he was injured. At the moment I don't see a place for Beswick (cue VM with his "I told you so" speech). Shad at 13, Penky starting at Hooker with Gleeson coming off the bench. Beswick is a good solid player, but I think everyone here would rather have Shad on the pitch than Bob, how many tries did Shad get in the first half of last year?

What about Tom Haughey from fev, hasnt he been released, would be a good addition to the pack

yes, the match v hull when lost at the shay by a few points and he was goalkicker, just never turned up at the ground. was wigan bound very soon after.

Remember Beswick played in the world cup last year so had very lttle rest between the end of the previous season and the start of last season. He's in the same boat this year as he's been palying for Ireland again

One good game in 4 didn't make what should have been the most effective player in the league anything special.
He has his admirers at Fev, but played when he wanted to. And a real morngy bug_ger to boot!! Def not a team player - a isolative individual!
There are those amongst us who would have him back - I'm not one of them!
