| we were absolutely flat. Not sure what the issue is but we have a big problem as we are not able to raise our game against the so called lesser sides. No disrespect to Whitehaven at all.

Dave,I think Fax sometimes get carried away with their own success, I was at the Shay last week and they put Sheff away without any trouble, yet listening to tonight's game it sounded like Fax had 75% of possession in the second half plus a fair few penalties, yet they only force a draw against one of thw weaker Championship sides, from what I can see you have a few away games on the trot to come, you must start improving away from home as Batley seem to be doing well at the moment , however on the plus side Fev p,ay us tomorrow,so we can do Fax a favour.

| First game I have missed this season it is a disappointing result but when you see how the scoring went it was a point gained rather than lost, especially scoring in the last minute!
Anybody who went what were the conditions like and how did we play?
Did Simon Grix get on?

Charlie, from a Fax perpapective any game against is tough. I'll say no more as I'm struggling to see my key board.

Conditions were fine bit of drizzle here and there but nothing which should cause issues.
Grix played majority of the game and ended up controlling the game when scott went off
Over all poir first half trying to score everey time we had the ball resulting in droppijg the ball every 2nd and 3rd tackle
Lucky to come away with a draw tbf one point is better than 0 but celebrateing a draw when you expect a thrashing is poor
Resting richard moor cost us as did not have is impact of the bench

| Richard Moore was probably dropped due to weather forecast. His wild offloads do work in dry conditions, not so much when the ball is like a bar of soap.
In hindsight, R.Moore should have played. Should Grix have played a Reserve game first? Was very rusty until back end of game.
Marshall still has to play his best team, regardless of the opposition.
A Point gained considering the performance.
That's the complacency out of the way for the next batch of games hopefully.

| Lets make no mistake this is most definitely a point lost rather than a point won. I can only assume the players were wondering of how many points they were going to score and by the time they realised that they were in a game Haven had been given enough confidence to make it more than difficult. In some ways you could say that getting a point from a game we should have lost is not a bad result but ultimately this point and the 2 lost against Swinton will see us miss out on the top 4.
Simon Grix looked good in his second spell on the field but in the first spell he was blowing out of his backside which is obviously no surprise but I wonder what message it sends out to the players when he is put straight in the first team without having to have a game in the seconds, I thought that were the whole point of having a second team? That said we looked so much quicker in his second spell when he took up a stand off/LF type role.
The biggest problem for me was that is the first time we have come up against a decent pack in a number of weeks and they rolled us over so our halfs never had a chance to find any space and I can hardly remember a clean break which cant be said for a lot of our other defeats. Moore been rested looks like a massive mistake because they were huge and with his quick feet at the line he could have given us a lot of go forward that no one else in the team looked like providing. Also if you finish a game thinking Manning had a poor game then you can pretty much get an idea of how bad we were.

| Just coming to terms with how lucky we were to even get a point yesterday. Haven played very similar to Batley with low error rate and good kicking game to corners. Nothing flash but good game management and great tackling display. We on the other hand dropped everything when attacking and looked to be panicking instead of building pressure.
I can't remember us attacking down the middle and offloading to support players like we have done over last two games. We just seemed to go wide far too early and gifted Haven an easy drift defence option.
Poorest first half I have seen for a long time.
I just have no idea which Fax team is going to turn up these days.
Most of our top 4 contenders seem to put these lower teams away (no offence to Haven) We in turn have lost to Swinton, nearly lost to Haven away and Worky at home, and just beat Oldham by12 -6.
Several of our players had off games yesterday I'm afraid and I hope the damage done isn't permanent.
Dewsbury away will be no easier!
See you there to see which Fax team turns up for that game.

We do seem to go into panic mode in games like this especially against the lower in the league teams lets say!
Looking at Dewsburys last two results I think that will focus our minds and will be a lot better next week which will be a tough test.

| The Timekeeper is an RFL Appointment. Since the beginning of the 2015 Season Club timekeepers can assist, but the RFL is fully in charge.
