Its a game we should win comfortably next week so would make some changes and give some of the other lads a run out.
I'd move slaty to full back, maybe try Johnston and Moore as half back partnership and then move Murrell to loose forward?
Bring heaton in for Smeaton
Tommy Saxton on the wing
Divorty in for Barber
Then on the bench Tangata, Maneely, Fairbank, Bracek?

I said previously how Bracek is a must in our line up, the guy hates losing and always gives 100% ,cmon Richard you know it makes sense do the right thing and pick Mr Bracek.Don't let your own publicity go to your head, you are only as good as your last game ,AND YOU LOST YOURS.

Miles if fit will come at fullback.

As I scribed last night after seeing us get beat fair and square in that second half we have a problem at fullback and on that right edge. I would expect either Miles -if fit or Salty to be in at fullback- Heaton back in and a decision made on Murrell going into the pack and leave us with two pacey halves in Moore and Johnston. Forwards look fine and the bench would be the only area to change-and yes I agree Bracek would be in there for me.
Over to RM of course. Mrs LTD and I will be at Worky to support whoever wears the blue and white.

definitely think there will be a few changes next week . Agree with other posts re full back . Saltonsall or Greenwood for me with Johnston moving to half back although I don't think RM will do it . I think he wants continuity at half back and play Moore and Murrell there. Perhaps Johnno to the bench ? Saxton on the wing offers not as much pace but is strong , always difficult to get down and defensively sound. I would also think about Bracek and Divorty in the forwards . I really hope one day RM moves Murrell to 13 , Moore and Johnston to half back and have someone like Fairbank on the bench adding pace and power as teams tire.

Mr Standidge , no I'm not just saying bring back Bracek and our troubles would be over, but passion is infectious and others would follow his lead, look at the posts after yours they seem to agree with me about bringing Bracek back, though you are allowed to voice your opinion and I respect that without having a pop at you , peace be with you .

Just considering options and another would be to play Sharp at full back and put Saxton and Tyrer back together, they play well as a partnership and have a good understanding.
Sharp is sound under the high ball has plenty of experience at 1 and has the strength and step to make good yards when returning the ball.

The reason to give the likes of Divo and Bracek a run is it wouldn't cost us anything in quality, they would be busting a gut having being given the chance and keeps them in the first team fold and just says to the team "keep yourselves on your toes boys"

Did not make the game on Friday but watched the game on T.V.. Was not impressed with the team performance at all.We need to move jonno into the halves thought murrell and moore had shockers. We were shocking from 1 to 17 but there is time to change it around its only 1 game. Hopefully we will beat Worky with some ease if we play people in the right positions .Jonno plays the fullback game ok but is so much better in the halves it will be sorted im sure

Watched the game on website and agree with earlier posts about our right side been exploited- RM did however say that Sam Smeaton was carrying a injury which he looked to have sustained during match.. Maybe in hindsight should have replaced him because menzie is one of the best centres in comp.
Personally I would play Miles at fullback if fit because he is one the best fullbacks in comp. I agree with Mr Jagger that Bracek would be in my side because he always gives a 100% and never takes a backwards step. Need those sort of grafters against Sheffield who I may add more than matched us in the pack. Was impressed by Mexico for Sheffield. The pitch didn't help really it looked boggy and narrow.
Only way I see us beating Sheffield is with a good kicking game and playing out our sets. We made far too many handling errors. Sheffield played percentages better than us.

which game were you watching ? Agree with Murrell prob worst game he has played for us, but Moore ? he split them open at will and if it was not for dropped balls by Tangata, Fairbank and I think Cahalane he put all three through with line beckoning, as well a putting sharp in for the try. He put manning into gaps and Manning was awesome again down the left and our problem was failing to deal down our right side. Disagree with shocking we had enough chances to have been out of sight at half time and did not take them, and we then paid for that.
I don't think jonno is suited to the full back role especially on the heavier ground and miles coming back soon should seed a shuffle around but can't see marshall changing Moore and murrell
