Is he injured? dropped?

No seen him since Fev game, assume he's working on his fitness and planning to come back with a bang?

I hope he is making the necessary improvements and hasn't just given up. I just wonder what has happened with this guy? Has the switch from full time to part time training had an adverse affect? Hope he sorts it soon - we could really benefit from the Aizue of 2008.

IF YOU WANT TO WIN IT YOU'VE GOT TO EARN IT. DESIRE AND PASSION FOR 80 MINUTES. COME ON FAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:38361.jpg

He was sat in the back of the stand last night with Miles, Gleese and Superstar DL. Hope to see him back on the field soon and showing us what we know he is capable of. Makali was the signing I was most looking forward to watching and still believe that if he plays to his capabilities, he will be a Fax hero sooner rather than later.
Come on Makali, set this league on fire, the Hull KR fans loved you, allow us Fax fans too as well.

Don't believe he wants to be here. He's out zero effort in so far. He even said in his youtube interview that he felt he should have been playing at a higher level. Stanley called him "Angry Aziue".

Taking too much money sat on the sideline.

By contrast....we stood near Stranley towards the end of the game last night. He was making every tackle and cheering like a supporter when we scored.

That doesn't stack up. If he's that angry he'd be busting his balls to put himself in the shop window for the likes of Castleford, Wakey, Salford etc........

It depends what type of person you are. I agree with you that my reaction would be the shop window one. Plenty of players give up tho when they end up on the downward spiral.

We are a good payday. Azuie is doing a Kelvin Skerret in my opinion

We should send him on loan to Swinton along with Cherryholme.

I know people have compared him with Seu Seu but in all honesty although Seu Seu made no yards whatsoever at least he could catch a ball to show that. Now if Makali could just catch the ball I'm sure he would be a good asset to us.

Makali has shown what he can do. Only in very short spells so far, but I believe he will come round soon.

He's just warming up at the moment. icon_biggrin.gif

Think some of you may be over-estimating the ability of Mr.Aizue. Lets face it, he's knocking on these days and was never particularly great. During his time with Hull KR, especially in the games I saw him play outside of Super League, he was extremely error-prone and often made little impression going forward. However, he did have some sort of cult status amongst Rovers fans, possibly due to his Papuan heritage and the prior success of Stanley Gene at Craven Park. If you were expecting some sort of block-busting superstar, then you were maybe being a tad over-optimistic. He's just not this great player that some of you obviously think he is. Dom Maloney is three times the player Aizue will ever be, in all honesty.

that is not true, they travel together when it suits, dependant on school pick ups-family commitments and if there own plans coincide......if stan needs to be home but mak has to stay they travel seperate, they travel together whenever possible to save on fuel costs....unsupported and untrue rumours about in team fallouts can be very dangerous and has been known to in fact cause a problem that didnt exsist in the first place

Jesus. We finally sign some quality and some people have to have a pop. Maka has been injured and has probably been playing with an injury but yet some people won't give him a go. He was a legend at hull kr for a reason, let's give him a chance to show why.

As for inventing rumouirs of a fall out. Get a life. You stand on the terraces and slag off the team's efforts and then come on a public forum that the players read and spread unfounded lies and spectulation. Hardly in a position to speculate eh?

Let's let the boys get on with it and give calland a chance - this is our team

Hope he does come good for us, but i never felt he was that good at HKR even at NL level. Didn't spend too much time on field and could always expect him to make a mistake or 2 each game. Think we may be expecting too much and i'd have prefered to have seen us sign a more hardworking and younger player.

I have it on good authority that at a recent training session that he did some extra work, after the others had finished, (dispite pleas from someone that had traveled with him to set off back) because he felt he was lacking fitness after the long lay off through injury.

That does not strike me of the attitude of someone who does not want to be a success at the club, give the lad time.
