I have read so much on this subject and I am not surprised both threads have been locked.
We have been waiting 10 years to get the new stand and before we are even in people are talking about boycotts and petitions. Let us get in there and enjoy it before making any rash decisions. I can only say up to press in my meetings with EMC as far as the supporters are concerned they want to accommodate us as much as they can. When decisions are made on pricing etc we can have some imput as they have already seen at the Sheffield game how busy the Supporters bar is and want to build on this. Even the Club do not know what if any of the East Stand will be open for the Hunslet game. Please be patient we are nearly there. The Council themselves want to make it a success for both sets of fans.
Maybe some fans want the ground to remain as it is using 3 sides and being run by SST. We want however a modern Stadium to compete with other towns if we all want to move forward. Yes in a modern Stadium costs are more but hopefully we are getting improved facilities.
I have always believed when having discussions you do not go in and start with threats. Good communication is what is wanted for all parties.
If after it opens and fans are not happy then lets sort out then rather creating bad publicity now which might not be founded.

EMC and companies of their ilk are alienating the every day fan in both sports and unless people make a stand they are going to have every ground in the country soon enough, what is wrong with keeping the current prices?
