League Weekly says that Rob has signed a 2 year deal to stay with us. There has still been no official news from the club. Does anyone know if the story has any truth in it, there has been lots of ongoing stories and rumours on the forum but nothing official.

I know it is off season and the club don't have daily updates for fans but if the story is true, then I think they should confirm it and put an end to the gossip.

The last article about Fax ( other than todays Dylan Nash story ) was last Wednesday's article about Bannister signing in which it stated:

"Veteran forwards David Larder and David Wrench, and winger Rob Worrincy remain out of contract, although Courier Sport understands that talks with the trio are ongoing."

Well said... Thats what this board is all about, after all.

Although I'm not an official of the club or anything like that I can confirm that this is true. My boss is Worrincy's other half's Dad, and he informed me of the news at the beginning of last week.
I appreciate that thats not exactly proof, but I can assure you I wouldn't make it up (and hopefully a couple of guys on here can back me up on that).

What we really need is for the club to back that up, not a couple of guys on here
