in interviews this week, the lads commented on how much the vocal support lifted them and drove them on at the weekend.

This is similar to what happened in 2015 when we made the 4, the fans got on board with the team and everybody rode the crest of a wave into the qualifiers. Our opposition scored and we chanted, it showed the lads we believe in them and were behind them all the way. We need the same for the rest of this season

I understand some people have had negative experiences at fev/have a thing about DR

but for the sake of the team it would be nice if they could be put to one side and please get to POR on Sunday and support the team. We can all make a big difference. UTFAX

It probably will be fine, and I'm intending travelling over, but I can already hear the chants of "W@nky, w@anky Halifax". Totally unnecessary, and despite the provocation this creates, the Featherstone club don't seem interested in doing anything about it

Last month the trouble was entirely amongst the KR fans.
It was widely reported at the time and kr laid it firmly at the feet of city fans who came for the ruck. But don't let that stop you trying to heap any blame you can on Fev.

Now I'm not bothered if you come or not. I'll be there and I'll enjoy the game.

Fax are not subjected to any special treatment by Fev fans, I've heard complaints from plenty of other fans at different clubs, if Rugby League is a family, they seem like the teenage family member who needs to grow up, drink less or get a girlfriend.

However, they would never stop me watching Fax, its hardly Galatasaray vs Fenerbache, but I doubt fans of our era will ever be able to forget what happened to one of our own after the GF.

Having said that, the club is run very well in rugby terms, and they are doing well on the field, which is currently better than us, but we can beat them. They always seem to beat us by making less mistakes and being more disciplined. Hardman is rock solid at the back, and Thackeray leads them round with simple guile and experience.

Our defence will be key, no silly penalties, and nick what we can near their line.

Make the trip Fax fans, if the Hull KR result goes well it could be a day to remember. I would go but family illness means my priorities must be within a HX postcode on Sunday.
