I believe the club were meeting today with The RFL to get feedback on 'our supposedly' failed licence application.

Please can someone from the club post post the outcome of the meeting on here to put us all out of our misery and let us know why we missed out.

Im guessing they will be releasing the RFL`s findings in the very near future. If they decide not to, or only publish part then we are going to look pretty silly.

They should be published with an open challenge for Wakey to publish theirs.

Not sure that will haopen as the RL were putting significant pressure on the club to conform. However despite the underhand tactics I understand the club were wanting to disclose everything to the fans. Let's see what happens, the meeting was at 3pm

we will hear nothing. i have a feeling the RFL will make sure of that.

It feels like the club are past sucking up to the RFL - They should publish - will lose a lot of support they have for their stance if they dont.

Still no news on the club releasing the information?

We shall see its still early yet but I can expect the RFL have said something like this to our BoardNEVER get a SL Licence, not while we are in charge and right now there is no chance of us letting this position of power go, we are RL, we are in complete control of everything that goes on in this game.
So just tell everybody that you accept our decision and that is the end of the matter.

There are people in the middle east trying to get rid of tyrants like those at the RFL, makes you wonder if this really is a free country???

The RFL have you by the short and curlies, thats why I really do HATE THEM.

still no feedback from the meeting yesterday!! can someone (preferrably someone from the club and not the RFL - as if!!) present at the meeting yesterday please let us all know the outcome.

as supporters i think we all deserve to know the specific reasons why the clubs licence application was not successful.

only once this is out in the open can we then start to move forward.

They will have put together a report full of interesting sounding words praising you and stating that you are moving forward and will be a prime candidate for next time

ie a load of bull

I've seen the report. It just says:

1) Need a backer
2) Need bigger attendances
3) Don't worry what we think of other club's performance over the last six years - it doesn't concern you.
4) Don't take our criteria requirements to heart - they are there just to fill out our franchise procedures.
5) Same time, same place in 2014. See ya!!

It wouldnt surprise me if the RFL tried that, but surely the club would then have the upper hand? Come out, reveal all and shame the idiots for what they are. Nothing to lose at all.

Once again , it needs the clubs themselves to take a United stand , say maybe attend the RL Council meetings , but all just stand up and walk out after the ' roll call ' has been done , just saying " when you've decided what's happening to us , send us an e mail "

in todays courier it says a jointly-agreed statement to be released.
in other words if fax say some stuff they will be even more stuffed by the RFL.
