Not the answer for me at all either. Legend as a Fax player but what has he done in the coaching world? Was given a few quid at Salford and took them backwards. We need a whole new setup with no previous links to the club in my opinion.

However I do not think we have a BOD with the backbone to make such a decision and think we will have Calland for a few more games yet. They will only get rid once its too late sadly. Hope they prove me wrong.

SL Application might as well just write that on a leaf it will be about as much use as one, cause i suspect the RFL have there favourates and sadly we don't fit into that catergory

We need a coach. We've tried promoting from within with Faz and Mercer and we've tried bringing Back Fax legends in Anderson and Pendlebury. We need a 50+ year old experienced coach who will install the professionalism, work ethic and in game tactical changes that look to be missing right now. If that means going to Australia then I haven't got a problem with that. If money is an issue then I'd rather get rid of two top earning players and spend it on a coach. We've got Danny Flemming and Bowman that look ready to step up.

Widnes appear to be very confident with their application and have every right to be with the structures they have in place, we're also going in the same direction. There will always be interest from the "development" clubs like Toulouse while ever the term super league Europe is in operation.
The sponsors and supporters of Halifax RLFC are in the position that they're able to apply for a licence currently, can supporters of other traditional clubs say that ? Will Batley, Dewsbury, Keighley ever be in a position that we're in ? We have hope, let's keep the faith.

Toulouse are nowhere near. It'll be Widnes in, Salford out in a very ordinary hum drum round of franchises. 2015 will be more controversial i reckon - depending on by how much Championship clubs improve their lot or how much the SL strugglers have capitulated through inactivity.

i think if even less inactivity by some of those in SL and RFL do nothing can see the game going to the courts to get justice.
