Quote: Tony Fax "Didn't go myself, and I probably wouldn't have if played at the Shay. I said at the start of the season I would start picking my home matches following the hike in admission. and I'll be making a choice between the upcoming Fev or Widnes, but not going to both.
The clubs need to get their heads together and have some kind of salary cap structure and universally get those entrance fees down to 15 quid absolute tops. Otherwise the clubs will slowly die, they haven't got a cat in hells chance of attracting new supporters at 20 quid plus. Even mini season tickets might work. For instance, I'd pay 30 quid for both Fev and Widnes. There you have it, made a tenner out of me already!'"
I went and paid £25 to get in..pathetically overpriced for the fare on offer and not surprised at anyone who swerves it.While on the game, despite the flak i got for calling out Salty he did get dropped and we didnt concede any soft walk in trys on that flank...I do agree with poster who said the turning point was when their left winger didnt have the pace to chase down that kick, our group all said same.
