It is the inconsistencies that are frustrating, the loss at Barrow as well, if we played like we know we can consistently we'd be up in 2nd or 3rd.
Great win yesterday, some great performances from individuals as well as an all round team performance. Thought Pickersgill's defence in the second half was MOM worthy, made a couple of tackles that were certain try savers

| Funny how the only 2 games this year that i said i couldn't see us winning was Fev away in the cup and yesterday and we won both so on that basis i am tipping us to lose on saturday. I do agree about Fev looking a bit one dimensional by that i mean they are a big side across the park but if you can hold onto their coat tails and execute some good rugby you will get some joy. I would say that was by far our best performance in the league this year and that is what makes this season so frustrating so far. If we can play as a team in the majority of our remaining games there should be some good times ahead.

| Sean Long now left Fev, James Ford in charge til end of the season.
I had heard a while back they wanted rid, They brought James Ford in as Director of Rugby and at some point got rid of Leon Pryce, watching the game yesterday Long looked particularly moody throughout, but I thought it was good to see him shaking hands with all the players at the end.
He's been hard done by Fev, he's lost 3 games all season, 2 in the League and 1 in the Cup. So there is more to his "parting company" than is been let on as it isn't down to results, they're still 6 or 8pts ahead of Toulouse

| Another disappointing crowd. Did the naughty fev fans behave themselves? Very poor following to say they're runaway leaders. And if you couldn't see them you wouldn't know they were there. Quiet. Didn't even hear them chant that obnoxious anti-fax chant.
Great performance tho'. Can't believe how good Lannon is. Even the big fev forwards struggled to handle him.

Sat next to them in first half and yes the w@nky Halifax was very evident as was the F word in their Cas tributes.I'm used to it with football but was upsetting the older generation around us while the stewards stared and did nothing...

| Anyone who from either side stayed away irrespective of anything else missed a great game simple as that.

Really cannot stand the fev fans, and cas aren't much better. If Toulouse pip the chokers and cas come down, we'll have the pleasure of both next season.
There was much talk about Springer on the other thread. He was quite a handful the first quarter but looked absolutely knackered in the 2nd half, surprised he was kept on. Lazy in defence and started to hide in attack. Maybe grixy had a point after all!

| I'd have Gwaze over Springer and Lannon over either of them.
