Just like there were many "would be" coaches in Leigh when John Duffy got a right blasting a couple of years ago!

Who ?We have Mr Lam ,he walks on water , and in Derek we trust.

That would be a dream coaching set up, but I just don’t think our budget could stretch to that.

Luke is still an assistant to Ian Watson at Hudds and Danny Ward is a defence coach for Rosslyn Park RU which just happens to be where we are playing London this weekend

I’ve heard it’s Luke Robinson. Seen has there’s been a lot of criticism about Grix just bumped into Elliot Morris’ brother in golcar and he says Grix is a super league quality coach and a top bloke , I hope we don’t live to regret this move .

Lad I know is mates with him and says he's a great guy and I have no doubt it is true. Then again Marshall, TA, Linnane, Calland were all great guys and none of those went on to be a good head coach at a higher level. Maybe he just turns out to be a really good assistant like Marshall only time will tell.

We won’t regret this move. Grix has chosen to go now and finish his contract with Fax early because of a better offer and a chance to move his career on at a higher level. Anyone in any job would take the opportunity to progress their career. He has done a huge amount of work since taken the Fax coaching role and has left us in a better place with better players than when he took over from Marshall. I wish him all the best and hope he succeeds.

No, I can imagine what it is though but I have heard all this before about previous players and coaches. Richard Marshall was going to go on to become a top head coach and we were lucky to have him. You always hear the same things when people either join or leave but how many players or coaches have really gone on to do better than they have at Fax after leaving? Time will tell if Grix can join the minority who have.

Now the tears are starting to dry up lets hope that he can finish his time at Fax with a win at Wembley and a decent run in the playoffs. Afterall that is what we all want and it would be nice for him to leave Fax on a high.
