Quote: Beaujangles "Indeed,my gripe was against Grix and his appalling use of DR and now were trolling back to previous coaches for justification.Even Faxcar agrees that our use of DR at Widnes was against the very ethic of the system and even that blew up in his face.'"
More accurately I fully agree that DR not just at Widnes as a concept is a blight on the game and should be entirely removed as an option from the game as a whole.
But the fact is at the moment it’s here and as stated before I know that the club are keeping it as just one of the options, but be aware it’s viewed as being the least favourable and honestly do you know the reasons for the decision Grix made at Widnes because there’s more to it than just blindly throwing someone in and if you want to really know why not ask him to his face?
Trolling back, no, justifying something no, just replying to the insults and the point you made on not being able to recognise longer term investment involving loans vs DR and you missed the point which was about the player not the coach.
So I quoted the factual example of Dan Murray who first joined us on DR, then on loan I provided the link to show that in both spells DR and loan he impressed the coach of the time, no misinformation there, it's a fact.
This is what led to his permanent move with the current coach.
He wasn’t “ blowing off cobwebs” at any time like you stated every DR player would be.
A further example is Oliver Roberts who in Feb 2020 joined us on DR from the Giants and played for us against Sheffield Eagles at the Shay in a game which we won 18 - 17 with him scoring the winning try charging on to the ball and crashing through the Eagles line in the 79th minute, he wasn’t here either just to pass time, do your research, listen to the post match interview and hear what he had to say about his commitment.
Were either of you at that game and when that happened were you saying “what the hell is he playing for”, “appalling use of DR” etc etc?
Watch the video because everyone else in the shed is going barmy and as a bonus Mark Aston is snivelling in the stands
