Quote: the fax in asia "Do any of you regular game goers have the stats for fax ‘s discipline record , is it serial offenders?, or a case of all joining in, not wanting to be seen as the odd one out.
Reading the forum it also seems SG either cannot stop it or accepts that players are brain dead, making the same errors time after time.
Again reading the remarks it shouts out if Fax cut out the really stupid ones it would not cost them yardage, tackle stamina , and ultimately points.
One way to cut out needless ones is to levy a fine system on the more careless / needless ones, like
I think the penalty count was quite similar in the Widnes game , it’s more like Grix says in this interview which partially covers I’ll discipline but more handling errors. https://youtu.be/orIWpkB2A60
I have thought about what could be done as regards discipline, it’s hard to tell if we do concede more penalties or if it’s just subjective thinking as opposed to objective thinking, I watch the game as a fan live then more stats based after on the replay that tends to neutralise the emotional side of my opinions of the game.
The penalties and handling errors are across the board so no specific individual although some players tend to do more than others , for example it’s rare that gwaze or Murray concede penalties they appear to be more mechanically drilled in their approach, I get the feeling some players get frustrated more easily than others and thus get emotionally involved whether it be nervous energy of over excitable, I’d say tangata , fairbank and larroyer fall into this category , I think they could probably benefit from being man managed or even see a sports psychologist to in Lehman terms tell them to calm down . Has Simon says it’s difficult to be critical of handling errors in the current conditions but like he said both Keyes and Aston didn’t kick great in the Widnes game , I also think it’s a valid point that they train on a 3/4 g pitch then play on a bog.

Quote: faxcar "I can’t believe that the game is on.
It’s hardly stopped heavy raining all night with strong gusting winds and is absolutely bouncing it down and blowing a gale with less than 4 hours to go.
I’m about 30 to 40 minutes away and if it’s like this a kick off time seriously considering wether it’s wise to go.'"
Sense has prevailed although I reckon some will have already set off

| At least no one will get hurt and without knowing all the details will refrain from having a rant at the RFL official who said it was fit to play in the first place.

| It's health and safety, the pitch has passed as fit. Common sense however has been sadly missing.

| That game should have been called off on Saturday. The pictures i have seen the pitch was not playable unless your a good swimmer it is very poor form to have fans traveling in those conditions to then call the game off so late. I don't know where the blame lies but somebody needs a kick up the backside.
