| Quote: faxcar "Yes but you connected them with the loss on Sunday.
Fact is though Ian several of them weren't playing against Batley and those who were, were doing fine until that horrendous injury to BK.
In an earlier post I explained what impact that, along with two in the sin bin had on the rest of the match.
We lost him after just 3 minutes of him coming on with huge implications for the interchanges and were down to 11 men at one point for an overlapping 20 minutes playing uphill, our fault for the bin but nothing to do with your assessments on the signings.
After just one game in those circumstances how is there anything to gauge them on, hardly fair or even sensible to do so.
Sorry, but this time mate it's not a case of Charlie knows, more a case of Charlie has no idea what he's talking about.
Faxcar , I respect your opinions and views ,I don’t think I named any of your signings I wasn’t impressed with , and based my opinions on previous performances with other Clubs , and I did forecast the right result at Batley , nearLy had the correct score .
All my opinions aRe just that , my opinions , as I’ve stated anybody that berates Leigh , I welcome they are entitled to their opinion ,yeah I love a wind up ,after only one game the season is far to early to predict , for what it’s worth Fev will probably beat us on Monday , but if they don’t then we would be in the driving seat for the coming weeks , I can’t wait .
Staying safe for me is easy to say but hard to do these days , I do my best .

| Quote: Hudd-Shay "It's a bit late for a good start isn't it? I do however agree that the team as a whole need to step up after last week's awful 2nd half. It is still early days though and I predict a comfortable win today to kick start our season. Up The Fax!
Come on lord Hudd- Shay you know what i mean if we were to win say the next 3 games even taking into account losing at batley that would be a good start for me.

I don't think LW or Jouffret were singled out as you say, more a case of Grix selecting a team for the conditions. As for the game, a dreadful 1st half was followed by a very well managed 2nd half. Two points, job done and Widnes next. Up The Fax! Sportsman, shuddersfield, Ilkley Pale 4.2% Mmm!

| Quote: Listenup94 "Who’d be a coach , some brave decisions there leaving out walmsey and jouffret, I can see the logic in leaving walmsey out as saltonstall McComb makes yards driving it out from our half and having arundal and barber in the centres gives us size and they’re both defensively sound , London got no change attacking our back line , Aston also looks defensively sound certainly better than Harris in that department.
The jouffret one is the one I struggle with tbh , Martin had a solid game yesterday and made zero errors and looks a safe pair of hands but I think jouffret adds a bit more coming into the line plus can play multiple positions if necessary. The Mrs ‘ being more of a people watcher than me (nosey cow ) commented after the game that jouffret had a face like a slapped booty and didn’t celebrate when we scored as the others did , you can take it with a pinch of salt but I’d hate to have the repeat of the springer debacle like last year , it’s a real test of grixs’ man management this year , interesting few weeks ahead .'"
For the first time in years we've got 3 quality halfbacks so there's always going to be 1 disgruntled one. I thought Aston had an excellent game yesterday and complements Keyes really well. While I know there's a desire to find a place for a player as good as Jouffret, Martin is really solid at the back and may well grow into the attacking side as he gets more confidence. Jouffret may get a chance as back up hooker next week if Wood is injured - pleased to see Brandon Moore back to more like his old self in his second spell.

TBF Terry, I'd take that scenario right now.
