Quote: Hudd-Shay "Despite enduring last Sunday's awful 2nd half at Batley I'm really looking forward to our return home to The Shay. This is a game where we have a good chance to open our account for the season and let's hope we take the opportunity with both hands. Looking on the London forum makes our fans seem very laid back in the face of a bad result. They certainly seem to be a club on the way down rather than up and we really need to take advantage whilst we can. Hopefully with the rub of the green and cutting out stupid mistakes and giving away stupid penalties we can manage the game better and I'll go for a Fax win by 20. Up The Fax!'"
Exactly Hudds, the point has been made about the huge disruption at Batley and I believe the first, which was out of their control led to the others that were firmly in their control, ie injury leading to fatigue, basic errors (trying to play the ball too quickly), frustration inevitably leads to ill disciple and as we all know penalties = points.
You can never legislate for injuries but we will have the best 17 available to start with and fixing the rest is firmly in our court, in that area you only get what you deserve.
Fax to give Laaaaaaarden a good tonking by at leats 3 scores.
