There's a few reasons for the low crowds, the primary one being the appalling way the game is being run by the RFL/SL. Then there's people who are still unsure of crowds due to the virus, those who have just got out of the rl habit, those fed up with unnecessary rules and regulations and a general apathy towards rugby league which brings us back to those running the game. I don't know about the rest of you but i pay into the squad builder to see the best side possible halifax can put together. Stuff the rfl regarding integrity other sides are signing players and we need some fresh blood as much as anyone. And didn't the supporters trust put 5 grand in the pot at the start of the season. We might not be the favorites going into the playoffs but its one off rugby and a too good a chance just to waste. opportunities like this don't come around every season so we need to throw the kitchen sink at this.

I agree we need to put everything into the playoffs. If not, why bother and that would be worse. I too pay into the Squad builder and the Fax trust. It isn’t much but I feel I’m doing my bit for the club and as such I want them to put all their efforts into every match whether it’s league, cup or in the playoffs.
