I'd be interested to know his stats as I don't see what all the fuss is about. Just don;t think he stands out to warrant the attention, unless I'm missing something hence the stats comment.

Despite his love for Fax, Tangata obviously thinks he can earn a full time crust. I thought he mixed it well with the big Toulouse pack and certainly has it in him to do well in SL. But he needs a clear run free from injury.

The performance against Fev was not much better still not sure what he brings. the only reason I see him in the team is the fact his brother is coach.. I would of kept QLT or give sharpe is number 1 shirt back

It must be remembered that our first choice 2nd row line up has been missing virtually all season - (Simon) Grix, Grady and Butler (whose return has seen dipped form due to his impending departure). A stinker that, eh?

Renoylds is nothing special and I think we would lose out if it goes through. Plus it seems he doesn't want to come anyway.

RCS needs to be blooded, also Mcgrath. Sharp has maybe a season left in him. I think there have been a few in the reserves the last couple of years that have never poked their nose through to the first team, despite the anticipation they would ; Kian Morgan (Is he even still here?) Oliver Waite? No love in with London and I realise that a full- time environment does have a significant impact on their success (but wasn't immediate) but last year and even this year in Super League, the vast majority of their team was built from within, locally (Walker, Davies, Hindmarsh, Lovell, Adibyi, Dixon) with a 1 or 2 quality players (Sammut) and a few cast offs (Williams, Kear, Battye).

With Newcastle coming up next year it seems, they also have a strong development system and with a bit of money behind them and seemingly a decent following at home, could 'do' a London also. We need to be astute and build 'forward'. We can't compete on the capital side (Leigh, Toronto, Toulouse) but we do have leverage when it comes in having a solid core of skilful youngsters locally to build around.

Regarding the playing staff this weeks RL Press has the following report / quotes from Simon Grix.
