Still don't see the love fest for Tangata, not see anything to suggest he's worth the fanboy obsession. Might be a decent bloke I'm sure he is but his performances certainly don't warrant it.

Adam is the type of player that will shine when playing alongside "complementary" team-mates. He's not someone who can do it all on his own. He was a different player when playing alongside Mitch Cahalane, and we really need someone of that ilk to come into the forwards (as well as the halves).

The whole episode of him re-signing was way too much. It seems he's mates with some of the "super fans" we have who were instrumental in running the bring him home campaign. He's not done anything for 3 seasons. He should not need other players to shine, way people went on you'd have thought he was Sonny Bill Williams when trying to bring him home. Good player, yes but not seen it for many a season now and really should be standing out with the euphoria over him. Would have been far better putting the money raised into a half back instead of a mates favour jobs for the boys signing which this was. Maybe he needs a pre-season who knows. We needed backs to score points, a centre we have lacked for 3 seasons now, not another forward, just think money could have been better spent and sentiment got in the way.
