I don’t think there is any “Brass”.

When I asked about the accounts I was sent a PM that said - The accounts to November 2017 showed the clubs liabilites were £179,556 greater than its assets. Whilst this is roughly £140k better than the year before the amount of share capital has gone up by a similar amount. This would indicate that a director (steele?) wrote of a big loan amount, and the club was still loosing money.

I dont see anything that would indicate that the club has gained a lot of new income so I dont think we have much spare brass. If anything we will still have cash issues and the new directors will have taken over from MM and be fire fighting.

If its such a poisoned chalice it makes me wonder why your lot were so desperate to get involved?

Well I’ve held off joining in these recent debates, and i share some of the frustrations about the speed of our progression, and sometimes struggle to see where it is, or whether its just breaking even, damage limitation or simply doing things we should already have been doing.

But....
We need to remember a few things
1 were in a better position than a lot of rivals
2 have several top 4 finishes under our belt
3 The match day experience is improving
4 were finding and developing some great players for the future
5 we have one of the most promising coaches around in the UK game
6 people are stepping up, on and off the field, people at the club care

P.s every club misses out on the odd signing, lets someone go who’s a fans favourite, has the odd starlet that slips through the net, and every club has bills to pay and faces difficulties when not owned by super rich lunatics.

Nothing to see here, be positive and up the fax, looking forward to seeing us on the paddock again soon.

ok back on topic and won't be a popular view but i think we have taken the easy option and re-signed too many of last years squad.

That’s the truth of the matter with Tangata, Heaton out and Kavanagh, Robinson in nothing significant has changed so far.
Still hoping for that extra bit of class to be added but not with any real expectancy as time ticks by.

I agree. All top teams invest/improve whilst on the up. The question is, do we want to be a top team or are we happy to be top four in the 2nd division for ever more?
