Great effort from the lads what a terrific match we lost to a good try but whilst we had one lucky try they had 2, I would like to see that short kick off again as not sure if it came off one of their players to them it was dead spawny but hey ho.

Budge, in every game, especially when they are so close and so important there will be "the incident" that affects the result, which could have, should have, would have been different and there will be two ways of looking at it.

1. When you win it's hard to tell.

2. When you lose it was so obvious that the blind cheating individual in the middle with questionable parentage and the robbing, spawny, talk about lucky

other lot seems to be the assessment.

Having died again from the result and all things being carefully considered i'll go with the latter one.

Neither of those are tries. 1st one should be a play the ball to Fax, ball comes out after his arm hit the floor and as has been said the 2nd one should be a scrum to Fax for accidental offside.

Spot on but at end of day the team that made the most mistakes lost.That pass from dummy half was an absolute killer and why Fairbank didn't put that winger in row z for clinching try is anyone's guess.Don't blame ref for the offside the lino was stood in the perfect position and just ran off-total waste of space.

Agree on the second one. But not the first. Think he got rid of the ball in time.

Touch judges are useless. They can't even tell when a conversion is over these days! Dodgy decision leading to Gregson's try, but not completing the tackle on him after he'd gone down was poor.

I said that at the time. It was offside(accidental) but to not finish the tackle cost us.

Watched the clip a few times now, we definitely got lucky with Gregson's 2nd try. The ball did ricochet off a Leigh player, before Crookes picked the ball up. Accidental offside, scrum to Fax...

But what we won't know without watching a replay of the whole game, is how many mistakes a referee makes that do not affect the result, because the subsequent set of tackles has been successfully defended. Am sure Richard Marshall will be as much if not more disappointed with the fact the defenders couldn't complete the tackle on Gregson as he was with the initial decision.

First try is obstruction as well.
