It was great to see the impact of a big set of forwards laying a dominant platform.

The halfbacks had lots of room to operate in and we were very clinical in attack. I am looking forward to see what we can put together on wider pitch.

Referee helped nobody with a string of baffling decisions and a bizarre range of hand signals.

My first away game for some time yesterday. I know it wasn't that simple but we were a class above them in the second half. Thought Grix was my MOM, Like his old, thinner self.

I was also very confused by the ref, have they added some new signals as at one time he looked like he was doing a skipping rope impression as a signal!

Having just watched the game on Fax TV, there were some good performances across the park and we did look to move the ball a lot more, sometimes a bit forced when maybe a deep kick would have been the better option.

QLT coming into the line classic fullback style in attack offered us an extra man wherever he popped up and when he gets to know the plays better there will be a lot of scoring chances for him and others coming from that.

A number mistakes and a lot of penalties with some bizarre calls both ways.

A few candidates for mom, hard to call but moan of the match without a doubt was Paul Sykes, does he go on like that every game, good grief.

If we get that ref again he needs to learn:-
1.The 40/20 rule
2.the ball hitting shins does not constitute a knock-on.
3.If the attacking side scores a try from advantage play,you don't call it back for the offence..

Team warning ?

It could have been owt! The bloke gave one of the most baffling refereeing performances I've ever seen but without them, no game. A pretty good showing from Fax and one that gives real hope of a top four finish. It was good to see a big turnout of Fax fans as well! Up The Fax!
