| Quote Dbvada="Dbvada"Understand that both Ian Croad and Michael Steele are leaving the board. Not sure whats happening with Riley.
Croad has been very ill but now improving and back at games, understand he would have continued but his leaving is down to his crap relationship with Moore.
Steele has kept the club going by all his hard work and cash but will go at the end of the season. Both have been there long time (Steel over 15 years) so this will be big change. On back of the row with the advisors and Ramsey walking out looks like Moore not easy to get on with. Moore trying to put a new board together with McNamara, trying to get Turner and Posner involved.
I suppose the big question is Moore picking up a mess and debts or are we ok? Does anyone know who actually owns the Club now?'"
IT WOULD APPEAR THAT YOu KNOW MORE ABOUT OUR CLUB BOARD THAN THE ACTUAL BOARD

If true then I would like to say a huge thank you to both Croady and Michael for all their time, money and efforts keeping our club going we have had some good times while they have been on board and some bad. I know Croady has been unwell but hopefully after his operation(s) he is okay and I wish him all the best, I guess he has decided to step down due to his health, my question is what will happen to the shop?
Michael Steele has done a sterling job for a long time and if he is stepping down I am sure it is because he feels he has done his time and wants to enjoy the rest of his retirement so hopefully you can Michael, I know it is the same with Mike Riley and I am sure this is nothing to do with Mark Moore who I have been impressed with so far he seems to be getting his teeth into things that have needed changing for a long time!
What we need now is somebody on board with some money, heres hoping there is someone???

| Looks like it's keep an eye on Companies House for the changes or await Dbavdas next instalment!!! He certainly seems to be on the money currently. Moore appears to be making things happen to be fair and it's never easy when there are other egos about.

| Looks to me theres a few people post on here with ulterior motives...............
He may be on the money with part of what he said but the "why" part of his post is completely wide of the mark and looks to have been posted with the intention of stirring up trouble. I can only think of one group of people who would want to do that.......

| Mr Moore seems to be doing a good job and Mr Croad seems to be looking better every week I have seen him - it all seems pretty steady to me.

| This weeks press says it "understands" Ian Croad has left the club.
If true, many thanks for all your efforts and massive contribution over the years for Fax Ian.
In the same article Mark Moore denies supposed reports that allegedly surfaced last week that Fax would be leaving the Shay next season.
Mr Moore insisted as saying, "That it was not part of their plans moving forward, we're staying at the Shay".
"Talks are ongoing with the Council about a new license, but we are not in talks with anyone else".
"That said, if another opportunity comes then it would be stupid of the club not to have those conversations".
They were looking at an alternative training venue to Calderdale College and were in discussions with other organisations as they seek an alternative facility.
For me the operative words in all this are "moving forward".

Makes me wonder why we moved from Thrum Hall in first place. All we had to do was redevelop it and we owned our own ground. Cas still playing at Wheldon Road and no talk of stadium not meeting criteria. Any chance we could get Tony Gartland back on board with his millions.

Therein lies the problem.
As misty eyed some quite rightly get over Thrum Hall, it was a dump with all four sides a H&S risk. It was enclosed in with no/little room for expanding.

Got to agree, although appearing well informed, always very negative and spun thus. Strange user name Portuguese/Spanish for 'Dubbed'!

We also thought the Shay being a dump at the time and being a community stadium we would be welcomed.
As misty eyed as some unrightly can't get over Fax being there nearly 20yrs on, and therein lies another problem.

Welcomed? Fax took over the place with a disgusting arrogance and no respect for its co-tennat. However, thats history.
The Shay had one stand rebuilt and another one well underway when Fax moved in. Historically the Shay was a dump, but major improvements had been made and were ongoing (until the East Stand farce).
