It was a tough first half and always going to be difficult to come back from that, and yes the ref seemed just to give Sheffield penalties for fun, however we were atrocious at tackling. Jeez I'm glad that season is over and we can look forward to next year. I'm sure early bird season ticket sales will be slow, especially if they drip feed us information like they have done in the past.
Disappointing end to the season. Not watched any of the games in this meaningless competition. Hope we stick with the reserves because would make no sense to scrap after one season. Mistakes have been made and hopefully learned from. Wouldn't it have been better investing money on first team and cementing our spot in top 4. Once we had done this we could then have looked at a reserve setup.
Feel like we have gone backwards and talk of reduced staff/ cuts doesn't bode well.
Hopefully we can get that team ethic back in 2017, which was missing this season.
