Anyone wanting to stop off anywhere around Windermere on the way up to Haven on Saturday please be aware that the Great North Swim is taking place with 10,000 participants expected and goodness knows how many spectators.

I would avoid the area at all costs and stop somewhere further up around Penrith/Keswick, or just enjoy Haven longer like we are going to do!
