| A wins a win but there's more questions than answers again. Where's the intensity and aggressive play gone from last season. Our line speed is pedestrian, our back line is far too deep and spread out, the kicking game is average, our offload game has gone?
The gaffer is far more qualified than me but I think we need to stop tinkering and get a settled 17. I've found some of his selection and (today) interchanges a little strange, but it's all about opinions.
Can't put my finger on it but summats just not right.

| As has been mentioned, a drab affair really. The main thing is, we got the 2 pts and both Batley and Featherstone lost. The Bulls seem to have enough about them to win games they should, so it looks like a straight shoot out between us, Fev and Batley for that forth spot, as London and Leigh look secure enough already.
We lack fluidity, creativity and any urgency at the moment. It could be down to lacking confidence, but after beating Bradford a month ago, I would have thought that wouldn't be a problem. RM is trying to find the solution and for some reason things just are not clicking. I for one, actually thought Murrell at 13 worked okay today. He played pretty well and they linked up steadily, it can hardly be helped by a constant lack of runners or options. Gareth Moore seems to take the line on more than ever, but who can blame him when he only seems to have Manning/Tyrer running the same lines off him every time?
Ambler showed up well again, Tangata too. They all did a steady job and matched the Dewsbury pack. We again have conceded out wide, which is a weekly problem. It seems like nobody wants to play on that right wing the amount of errors that come down there. Surely, sooner or later, we will start to click.....

| Missed today due to work but it seems we managed a win without particularly impressing anybody. Big question is, what's missing from last season?
I don't have the answers but it seems some players are getting picked when most on here think we should be playing others.
Brandon Moore, Salty for two, what about Heaton for Smeaton as we seem to have issues out wide, which two halves should we be playing?
Questions for the coach to work on.

| Difficult to comprehend how a side that showed so many positives can go to playing like they are now and it does seem to affecting the entire team.
Maybe I'm asking to much but as the weeks go by it just seems boring.
Not a single line break all the game, apart from both goal kickers hardly a single peace of skill that has you putting your hands together, in fact the only thing that got the crowd even remotely raising their voice was that imbecile in the middle again.

| Two points. In and around the top four. Potential to improve. Not too many injuries. A coach that knows his onions.
Not all doom and gloom eh?

| Sadly the team as a whole are not in form and have not been all season. The Forwards, apart from Tangata, have failed to build much of a platform to work off. Silly offloads and slow PTBs has not helped the halfbacks create much. The backs have all struggled at times and as a group maybe nobody has stood out that much. Defence at times has been poor. Sometimes we are trying too hard and pushing things, instead of being clever and building the pressure and being patient. The pressure from last year is not helping and I feel many of us are getting carried away and thinking we are better than what we are. I feel we are about where we should be. We have lost stupid games and won games unexpectedly. The League is closer this year, but the standards across all teams, seems to be poorer than last year. We are still in with a good chance of a top 4 finish with Batley losing the last 3 games and Bradford and Fev also as hit and miss as us! I believe we will sneak top 4 again, but all teams will get thrashed in the 8s,as nobody is playing that well.
