Was unable to get to game today but watched it last night. I thought we played well and well done. What happened to Lizzie Jones I thought she was leading out the teams today?

The announcer apologised at half time for the 'mix up' with Lizzie. She came out at half time to do the draw, but unfortunately, half the crowd were away getting beers or cucumber sandwiches in hospitality, so we were not able to show our full appreciation to her and the twins.

I thought Fax played with good intensity and targeted quick play the balls with forwards using power around the ruck. It was quite effective, however I didn't think you offered enough when your forwards tired and the tactics had to change. Both sides gifted tries to the other, and the difference for Salford was a very good kicking game and having a lot of pace in broken play. I thought Cobb reffed it well. Salford were more canny with how to slow the ptb, and the tactics that Fax employed demanded quick ptb's so it's not hard to see why Fax fans thought Cobb wasn't reffing well. Even so, Fax won the penalty count 7 - 6 so there can't be too many complaints. I think a couple of quality outside backs could really see you go well next season. You've certainly got a really good pack to build on and I don't think you're far off.

As a tv watcher it was played at a very slow pace in comparison to the other 8's games - PT ref?

I know this won't please some Fax fans , but we are simply not good enough , to concede 50 points to one of the worst teams in SL , they were without their main player ,is not good enough , nobody at Salford has scored a hat trick this season , they come to Fax and 3 get hat tricks.
Our pack did OK , I thought Mitch , Dane , and Tangata had decent games , but our backs were woeful, I know we played a few inexoerienced players , but Tyrer and Heaton must be the Heaviest centres in our League, not fast enough,Salty had a decent game as did Muzza who tried yo gee up the team , but we may now not win a game in the 8's , next week we will have to improve as Leigh will be desperate to win.COYFAX.

Oh come on, there is always going to be a gulf between part time and full time teams, you have to just think how Salford will have spent the last two weeks preparing for this game against how fax prepared by going to work and training several evenings. I for one thought it was an entertaining game as we pulled back to within 6 points. The biggest difference was the lightening pace they had on the wing. As I have said previously it's still a successful season if we stay eighth.

There was only one Championship club that ever got mentioned as being capable of getting promotion and even they got trounced by Salford. The other 3 were completely under the radar. All we've learned is that SL clubs have better players and that their regular season has prepared them better as a team. Nobody really expected much more than a respectable performance and Fax didn't fall short by much.

Really disappointed with our defence yesterday, switched off too many times and got punished. We're better than that. We gifted them too many scores.
Trying to find positives, I don't think were too far off, a bit of extra quality on the flanks and in the halves and well be fine next year.
Salty is making too many mistakes at the minute and I think Ben Heaton needs to keep switched on for 80 mins.
Robbo tried his best but was chasing shadows for much of the game, Adam Tangata played well, never stopped trying and deserved his MOM and try.
Theres a few lads that might have found SL pace a bit too much to handle and have gone as far as they can.
