Workington have only won four league games this season. Doncaster twice and Whitehaven twice. The teams below them in the table.
They have a negative points difference of -151.
Whilst they always perform well at home Fax should deliver some of the "promise" from other performances or be taking a backwards step. Anything less than a comfortable win should be unacceptable irrespective of the location.
We did a job today, some great defence as we and the Ref put us under pressure with numerous sets of six on our line but we kept them out, their try was from a decent kick and a long range effort.
Some good tries again and we never looked in danger of losing.
Worth the long trip.
Quote: halifaxjohn "To be fair we were very lucky, everyone of our passes were forward, we lay on at every tackle and we were off side at all their play the balls.
The referee and the line persons were well paid by us and got to the match on our bus.
Apart from that the Workington fans were very magnanimous in their loss.
Oh and yes the Workington fans were bad losers today they moaned even when they got dodgy calls off the Ref for them! One guy near us was just nuts.
The Ref was terrible, he gave 2 or 3 knock ons when we had dropped the ball backwards, 2 not playing the ball right when teams do this at quick play the balls all the time and a ball steal when their player dropped the ball.
yet we still won comfortably.

Having said that not sure we missed him Salty back to fullback, Ben and Scott half backs and Taylor at centre, none let us down. Nice to see Tangata have a run out, verdict still out?
Well done Fax.
Travelodge, Penrith, Britain's got Talent Bells 40% Mmmmmmmmm.
In't life brilliant.
Craven-slight shoulder injury should be fit for Fev.
